The Posey® Enclosure Bed is a complete bed system designed to provide a safe, controlled environment for patients at risk of injury from an unassisted bed exit.
The Posey Enclosure Bed includes a canopy, a frame, and a hospital bed. This complete bed system provides the following features:
- Canopy made of water-repellent, skin-friendly, durable nylon
- Perimeter guards for temporary use during patient care
- Locking casters to secure bed during patient transfers and when patient is unattended
- Four access panels facilitate patient care from all four sides of the bed
- Four tube ports provide multiple locations via which to feed tubes and lines from the patient
- Quick-release buckles help lock the zipper pull-tabs to keep patient from self-releasing
- Foam canopy pads wrap around the metal canopy frame to help protect the patient
